Dan de Jesus (yes that's really his name) and Hugo Nisbett (dull surname in comparison) set up al desco in April 2009 after realising they were much better at making sandwiches than advertising or PR.

It all started with one customer, a small domestic kitchen and a dream....

Since then we have gone from strength to strength thanks to our loyal customers and staying true to some simple values!

We focus on freshness, quality, service and doing that little bit extra for you, the customer. Our vision and passion is to provide fresh and yummy breakfasts and lunches to all in Central London and be the best sandwich delivery business in town.

Being Green is at the heart of the business. Our sandwich platters are biodegradable and are delivered to central London by British bicycles and trailers. We recycle everything possible and are keen to minimise the use of extra packaging.
